K.A. Bedford FAQ 2.5 Now Updated, With All-New Questions, Comments, and Drollery.
Blog Itself, Life, Writing January 14th, 2010It’s true. Just tonight, January 14, I have updated my FAQ to reflect various developments since the last update, including on the vexing subject of food. There are also a few new questions. And, just now, thinking about it, I realise there’s one more question to add. Bugger. I’ll post this, and go and do it. [LATER:] There, all done. So, new questions, lots of updates, and much else besides!

Thankyou for publishing your work, the effort is very much appreciated.
Meanwhile, here’s an excerpt from a conversation that occurred in Sydney today…
Prospective Reader: Yeah, the newest one is brilliant, better than ‘Hydrogen Steel’! I’d like to read ‘Eclipse’ and ‘Orbital Burn’, though. Can I order them both through Galaxy?
Galaxy Bookshop: Well this is odd, the North American distributor hasn’t listed them as out of print, but doesn’t list them as available either… hmmm, very strange…
Prospective Reader: Oh, yeah, that’s weird. I wonder if the author’s website can help clarify whatever that means. I’ll check the website, and if he says to go ahead and order them even though they’re not listed as available, then I’ll do that through Galaxy, yeah?
GB: Ok, sure.
PR: Thanks mate.

Have just started reading “Time Machines Repaired”. Fuckin’ brilliant. Love the bits with the cats… Are you going to Worldcon in August in Melbourne, so I can get you to sign it? :)

Have just finished Time machines repaired
..I have not enjoyed such a good read in a long time. These are real people,I can Identify with
Spider’s angst! Watching spider’s thought processes is
so close to my take on reality.I know people like Molly, James and unfortunately like
Electra. The characterization makes the time travel so reasonable. A truly amazing book that haunts the imagination. Thank you Mr Bedford. Best Regards Carl

Hi Adrian,
I thought I’d be a participating chair for the panel we’re on about narrative in games. So I’m going to ask you for a short one paragraph bio. Can you email me this?
I fly off to Melbourne on Sunday.
Thanks, Rowena
